STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS IS REQUIRED
A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required. To be considered for the position, applicants must submit an SOQ along with their application. The SOQ is a narrative discussion of how your education, training, experience, and skills qualify you for the position. The SOQ serves as documentation of each candidate’s ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. SOQs must be no more than two (2) pages in length and typed using no less than 12 point Arial font. The SOQ must address the following questions and in the order listed below:
- Describe your background, education, and experience as they relate to the Accounting Officer (Supervisor) position.
- Describe your experience delegating and leading the work of others.
- Describe your experience in the collection, tracking, analysis, and reporting of quantitative data.
- Describe any experience relating to the creation and implementation of business processes for efficient workflow completion. Provide examples of innovative solutions or tools that you may have developed. Cite specific issues/problems and what you did to resolve the issue/problem.
